What are your candles made of?

Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax — no paraffin nonsense here. We use high-quality fragrance oils (no toxins or phthalates), no dyes and cotton wicks, so they burn cleaner than a fresh layer o’ snow.

What is the burn time of my candle?

Your candle should burn approximately 30 hours. That's a whole lotta cozy!

How do I keep my candle burnin’ nice ‘n even?

Accepted Answer

Trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn. This allows for a clean, smoke free burn.

Discard the candle when 1/2" wax remains.

Burn the candle for 3-4 hours at a time. This prevents the candle from tunneling and ensures an even burn. Don’t blow it out too soon or it'll tunnel worse than a squirrel after a snack!

*Always read the warning sticker on the bottom of your candle for complete safety instructions.

Do you offer wax melts, too, or just candles?

Yah, we sure do! We pour wax melts for all you folks who like the smell without the flame. Perfect for camp, kitchen or office!

Are there any safety tips regarding wax melts that I should know about?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely!
Use only in tea light warmers approved for wax.
Do NOT add water.
Do NOT melt on stove top or in non-approved appliances.
Use in well ventilated areas away from flammable materials.
Discontinue use if dish contains less than 1/2" of wax.

You betcha! Local pick up and delivery is available in Manistique. Choose "local pick up" at check out or message us for details.

How’s shipping work from your shop?

We pack 'em snug as a bug and ship anywhere in the U.S. You'll usually get your goodies in 3–5 business days, give or take a snowstorm.

Where can I snag your stuff in person?

We pop up at craft shows across da U.P., and we’re proud to be stocked at a few local shops too, Currently you can find our candles at the three Michigan Made stores, Manistique Big Boy, Flowers by Jodi and The Erickson Center in Curtis. Do you take custom orders?

Absolutely! Weddings, showers, business gifts—you name it. Just give us a holler and we’ll whip somethin’ up special-like.

Question 11

Can I reuse the candle tin?

Accepted Answer

You betcha! When you're done, just clean out the leftover wax with paper towels (best to do when wax is still warm), remove the wick tab, then spray and wipe out with rubbing alcohol. They make great spots for buttons, bait, or secret snacks.
